Terms of Service – Woodbridge Web Designs

Effective Date: October 20, 2025

1. Services

Woodbridge Web Designs (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides website design, development, and maintenance services to small businesses in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding areas. Services include hand-coded websites, SEO optimization, and monthly website packages.

2. Subscription & Payment

Monthly subscription fees start at $199.99 CAD/month, billed automatically. Payments are due on the billing date each month. Clients must provide valid payment information. Failed payments may result in suspension of services.

2.1 Own Your Website

Clients may choose the "Own Your Website" plan, a one-time payment option for certain website projects. The scope, pricing, and payment terms for this plan will be outlined in the client proposal. Payments are due according to the agreed schedule.

2.2 Addons & Optional Services

Additional services or features not included in the standard monthly subscription, such as extra pages, e-commerce functionality, or advanced SEO packages, are considered addons. These will incur separate fees as outlined in the client proposal or invoice.

2.3 Minimum Contract & Early Termination

The monthly subscription plan has a minimum contract of 12 months. Clients may terminate early by paying the lesser of $1199.99 or the total remaining monthly payments for the contract term.

3. Project Scope & Revisions

All services are outlined in the client agreement or proposal. Minor revisions are included; additional work may incur extra charges. Timely client feedback is required to meet project deadlines.

4. Refunds & Cancellations

Monthly subscriptions can be canceled at any time with 30 days’ notice. Refunds for past billing periods are not provided. The "Own Your Website" plan and any addons are subject to the payment and cancellation terms outlined in the client proposal.

5. Intellectual Property

For clients on the monthly subscription plan ($199.99/month), Woodbridge Web Designs retains ownership of the website and code. Clients receive full access to the website and content for as long as their subscription is active.

For clients who choose the "Own Your Website" lump sum plan, full ownership of the delivered website and code is transferred to the client upon full payment.

In all cases, we retain ownership of templates, tools, and proprietary methods used in development.

6. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our websites. While we optimize websites for SEO and performance, we cannot guarantee specific traffic, rankings, or results.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time; updated versions will be posted on our website.
